The 2019 Manitoba wildfire was a very destructive wildfire that occurred between July 7 - 12, 2019. It occurred during an unusually hot summer, and during the fires, the pressure peaked at 1059 mbar, a record high for the areas being affected by the disaster. 24 people are known to have died, 122 more were injures, and 3 people still remain missing, presumed dead after the event had burned itself out.
