The 2023 Oklahoma wildfire was a thankfully pretty well controlled wildfire that burned in southern Oklahoma during the early summer of 2023. It began on June 1, and burnt itself out with a little help form the authorities of the affected areas. In total, 23 people died, 189 others were injured. 1 person remains missing, now presumed dead, and damages totaled to $84 million in the affected areas.
