Firecane Julius was an extremely rare event in which a hurricane merges with a high pressure system, having an unusually high pressure as a result. This one, for instance, saw record high temperatures and pressures where it passed, with an oil rig off the Louisiana coast being burned by 234*C temperatures, and recording the highest pressure in relation to the storm, a record 2958 mbar pressure. As a result of the firecane, 4,524,242 were left dead, 12,242,378 were injured, and 312,243 were left missing. Also recorded during the event was a record $10.39 trillion in damages as a result of it.
